Rachel lit a candle in memory of Timothy Dias
To Tim’s Parents… I don’t know if you remember me, I met you both a long time ago when Tim and I were headed snowboarding—or maybe it was just me—but we stopped by your house. Tim always spoke about you both with such unconditional love and respect- It really amazed me because I would of given anything to have that bond with one parent - and Tim was so fortunate to have it with the both of you. He was a reflection of your love and support and he lived with integrity and showed kindness to everyone, every single day. He was my first true friend in SF, and he changed me forever by showing me my first true example of the way good friends treat one another- and it’s a lesson I’ll carry with me forever. If you ever need anything at all, I’m here for you both in honor of him.
With heartfelt sympathy and love- respectfully,
Daria Bell
a bright light… forever in my heart. love you so so much, tim dawg. 💙

Tim was the embodiment of love. He loved everything so fiercely. When you were with him he made you feel like you were the center of the universe. His musical taste was vast and deeply rooted in soul. He was an encyclopedia of house hooks and R&B and so flawlessly mixed the two genres together. People gravitated to Tim and his beautiful vortex of kindness. He never met a stranger and left an impression on everyone he encountered. He loved making delicious food and even more delicious drinks. We also mustn’t forget his obsession with the best sunnies. Tim was a beautiful combination of all the best things in life. He was incredibly kind and would listen with absolute empathy. His quick wit and endless jokes could change your mood in an instant. He made everyone excited about music! Tim was an encyclopedia of house hooks and 90’s R&B and he masterfully mixed them all together. Some of the best musical moments of my life was a Tim Dawg set curated especially for me. He made people feel seen, he connected people, and it’s because of him I have some of my very best friends. Tim, you were one of the greatest loves of my
life and I am so thankful you chose me as your friend. You were absolute magic, a force of fierce kindness, with the perfect amount of sass. You leave me with so many beautiful memories filled with laughter, singing at the top of our lungs, car ride adventures, crying together, digging in crates for music, DJ’ing for me hours on end while I danced in your living room, beautiful bear hugs, talking and dancing until the sunrise, your laugh, your smile, your Ooh Uhuhs, and WHATKINOBEENTHS. The lost of why we all loved you so much is endless. Thank you for seeing me, and loving me so deeply and unconditionally. You will leave a gaping hole in the hearts of so many. I wish I had told you more often how important you were to me. I love you, Tim Dawg ❤️
