Timothy John Galvin's Obituary
Timothy (Timo) John Galvin, 67, of Wailuku, passed away at Hospice Maui on August 13th, 2023. Timothy was born on Long Island, New York, in the town of West Babylon on April 18th, 1956 to Doris and Edward Galvin.
Tim married Vangie on May 22nd, 1990, and had two children, Lealani and Noah. He also had another daughter from a previous marriage named Tara.
For many years he worked as a night security guard at the Grand Wailea Hotel from 1995-2012. Though, his favorite place of work during his lifetime was when he was a Hana tour guide for Polynesian Adventure. Anyone that knew him, knew his favorite hobbies were surfing, sailing, and camping.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Evangeline Arrocena Galvin; his daughter, Lealani (Kelsin) Andrade; his son, Noah (Kristel) Galvin; his grandsons Landon & Lennox Andrade; his sister Lynn (Bruce) Gerhard; his nephew Casey (Kristy) Gerhard; and his grandniece & grandnephew Kylie & Bradley Gerhard. He is predeceased by his parents Doris & Edward Galvin, his oldest sister Kathleen Galvin; his daughter Tara Krajecki; and nephew Jesse Gerhard.
His public services will be as followed. Memorial service over urn will be held at Nakamura Mortuary and will take place on September 20th, 2023 between the hours of 5pm-8pm. Then, on Saturday, September 23rd at 8:30am, we will gather at the beach in front of The Grand Wailea Hotel for a scattering of ashes ceremony with our family and friends.
