Tomasa Eda Ramiscal, 71, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025. Born on September 18, 1953, in Bacarra, Philippines, to late Maria Eda Ramiscal and Juan Agonoy Ramiscal, Tomasa lived a life marked by unwavering strength, quiet dignity, and a deep love for her family.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Tomasa is survived by her loving husband, Domingo Hidalgo; her son, Mark Dave Ramiscal (Karen Asuncion); and her cherished grandson, Kai Drake Hidalgo.
Siblings; Leonora Ramiscal (deceased), Julian (deceased) (Conchita) Ramiscal, Rosalino (Dolores) Ramiscal, Ramon (deceased) (Myrna) Ramiscal, Ofelio (Rosita) Ramiscal, Elsa (Andres) Galo, Lorna Ramiscal. Her warm heart and welcoming spirit will be deeply missed by them all.
Tomasa graduated from college and worked diligently as a laundry attendant at Maui Linen, contributing her hard work and dedication to the community. Her life was a testament to her resilience and her commitment to her family’s well-being.
A woman of quiet grace and unwavering faith, Tomasa will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her enduring love. Her memory will serve as a constant source of inspiration to those who knew her.
A service celebrating Tomasa’s life will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Nakamura Mortuary from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park - Main Cemetary.
