Tsuyoshi "Tag" Tagomori's Obituary
Tsuyoshi Tagomori, 84, passed away on April 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at Islands Hospice.
Services honoring Mr. Tagomori will be held on Sunday, April 17 at Wailuku Hongwanji. Visitation will begin at 3:00pm with services at 4:00pm. Mr. Tagomori will be laid to rest on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Maui Veterans Cemetery at 9:00am.
Tsuyoshi was born on March 21, 1932 in Puunene to Minoru & Momoyo Tagomori.
After graduating Baldwin high school in 1950, Tsuyoshi went on to study at UH, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In 1964, he married his love, Amy and together they raised their children. “Tag” as he was affectionately known by his co-workers and friends, retired from A&B Properties as general manager.
Mr. Tagomori was preceded in death by his wife Amy (Tahara) Tagomori. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, son, Jon (Alison) Tagomori; daughters, Jan (Scotty) Teruya and Gail (Lionel) Miyagawa; sister, Marilyn Tabata; brother, Manabu Tagomori; brother-in-law, Jitsuo Kunitake and sister-in-laws, Bernadine Tagomori and Carol Miyamoto.
