Valentin Baldugo Cajudoy's Obituary
Valentin Baldugo Cajudoy, 93, of Lahaina passed away peacefully at Maui Memorial Medical Center with his loving family by his side on January 13, 2017.
Services honoring Mr. Cajudoy will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Friday, January 27, 2017. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm, with service to follow at 7:00pm. On Saturday, January 28, visitation will begin at 10:00am, with funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Mr. Cajudoy will be laid to rest at Maui Memorial Park at 12:30pm. Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Valentin was born on April 8, 1923, in Ilocos Norte, P.I., to Marcelo & Claudia Cajudoy. In 1955, he married his love, Vicenta Viloria and together they raised 8 children. In 1969, Valentin immigrated to Maui and began working at Maui Land & Pineapple Co., where he would eventually retire as a planter. Valentin will be remembered as a loving, and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. While he enjoyed gardening and traveling to Las Vegas, his all-time favorite was babysitting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 61 years, Vicenta Cajudoy; daughters, Tina (Ernesto) Buduan, Gloria (Denny) Putnam, Marietta (Irineo) Balmores, Remy (Souky) Phanphongsa, Henedina (Warren) Jessop & Marilyn (Isaias) Cajudoy-Domingo; and son, Ray (Maribel) Cajudoy. He is also survived by brothers, Lorenzo Cajudoy Sr. & Maximiniano Cajudoy; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
