Valerie May Baldwin's Obituary
Valerie May Baldwin was born on April 16, 1952 in Walsall England and died in Maui, Hawaii while under Hospice care on October 9, 2024. Val’s parents Ron and Beryl Ousey along with her three siblings eventuality settled in Santa Barbara, California. A honeymoon vacation to Maui instilled in Val a lifelong love of water sports including surfing, wind surfing and water aerobics. Val always loved horses and riding and for many years was fortunate to own one. A true athlete, Val played tennis several days a week. Val was a licensed massage therapist and later in life she enjoyed her retirement profession dog sitting. Her dabbling in art started out as a hobby but her talent enabled her to not only exhibit but successfully sell her whimsical and colorful paintings as well as market a series of greeting cards. Ever the artist, jewelry making also brought Val much creative satisfaction.
Val was blessed to have found an inspirational and caring church community that instilled an unwavering belief in God that brought her much comfort. Val is survived by her siblings and a myriad of friends and neighbors who will miss her dearly.

We will be having a short celebration of life for our beloved, Val. She was a no frills kinda gal so lets keep it short and simple.

Time: 11 am. (Lunch provided)
Place: Sand Piles, closer to the park area. We will have balloons as marker.
