Rest in Love Brother 🤙🏽🌅

I miss you so much vic. Thank you for being an amazing big brother to all of us cousins. I will always remember our last sunrise with you in Kauai. I know now you will be watching endless sunrises from above without us and with a much better view. If you do get cold though come visit me and borrow my pareo again. Please watch over us as you always did my brother and keep our seats warm up there next to you. I love you vic, forever and always. 🤍
Tribute to Victor:
Victor was more than just a cousin to me, he was my brother. Victor and I go way back, I’m talking about diaper days. From takoronga betio, to Maui to Spokane and here we are back to Maui once again. This will always be HOME.
Growing up with Victor I don’t think I’ve ever experienced him being mad at all. He’s always so happy with the brightest smile even during his darkest days, he never shows he was sad. When I moved to Maui in 2005 I remember Victor being our little brother that would always just follow me and Kimmy around. He was such a sweet little boy at that time. Then we all grew up and had our own lives and sometimes we would forget to check up on eachother but I remembered Victor would always be the one to check up on me. And I thank you for that Vic. I wish I checked up on you as much as you did for me. I’m sorry about that.
When I heard the news of victors passing, I was in Kiribati at the time. I was shocked, didn’t want to believe it. That whole day I was hoping it was a dream. I still had a whole week left of my time in Kiribati and let me just say it was hard to enjoy because all I could think about is my brother Victor. I never understood why he left so soon.
The last memory I had with Victor was at aunty Beinana’s wedding just like most of us here. I would say that was the best night ever. After the wedding I had gone with the OG’s to the bar for the after party. And when I say OG’s im talking about my dad, papa Chris, aunty ioanna, uncle Ross, aunty Naomi all of them OG’s. A few hours later Victor pulled up to join the after party! That was such a memorable time. I remember Victor singing CRAZY RAP by afroman and if you know that song you know it’s not a song to be singing around the OG’s but Victor sang it anyways and danced the night away. I’m so happy we all had such a good time. After spending the night with the OG’s Victor and I went to the beach to join our NG crew and partied till sunrise. I’m so glad we had to spend all that time together VIC, I can’t wait to watch another sunrise with you.. one day!
To my dearest cousin: thank you for a lifetime of unconditional love, unforgettable adventures, and beautiful support. You will live on in my heart forever."
Until that glorious morning, please watch over us all and I will try my best to take care of your younger siblings & especially our mom aka AUNTY TIEMI. I love you VIC. Rest in peace and love.
I will always remember your big bright smile, and your contagious laughter. You were such a sweet person with a huge heart!!! You will truly be missed! Always and forever in our hearts!!!! This is not goodbye it’s see you later and until we meet again I know you will be watching done on the family!!!
Love,
Cousin-auntie Janean
