Victoria Ruiz Acoba's Obituary
Victoria Ruiz Acoba, 82, of Kihei, Maui, passed away on November 13, 2018 at Maui Memorial Medical Center with loving family by her side.
Victoria was born on March 23, 1936 to the late Mr. Justo and Mrs. Rafaela Ruiz, in the Philippines. Victoria leaves behind a legacy as a successful businesswoman, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was an AVON Presidents Club sales representative serving resident for over 45 years and one of Maui’s local produce vendors, serving local businesses. When she wasn’t working, she cherished spending time with her children and grand/great grandchildren, teaching them the value of supporting one another and making the most of every moment. Victoria loved gardening, traveling/going on adventures with her big family, and bringing relatives & friends closer together through her many hosted gatherings. Her smile, celebratory spirit, and kindness she expressed to everyone around her will truly be missed.
Victoria leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Brigido Acoba; children, Cecilia (Nestor) Soliven, the late Leo (Elizabeth) Acoba, Erlinda (Steven) Libby, Thomas (Josephine) Acoba, Florentino (Jeanie) Acoba, Bernie Acoba, Willie (Nena) Acoba, and Regina Acoba; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
