Visitacion Piano Laureta's Obituary
Visitacion P. Laureta, 89, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017, at the Hospice Maui Hale with her loving family by her side.
Services honoring Visitacion will take place on Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with visitation at 9:00am, and mass at 11:00am. Ms. Laureta will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park (Garden Of Meditation) at 12:30pm.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Ms. Laureta was born to Cayetano and Julia Piano in Orabantay Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Visitacion had a passion for helping others, spending time at the swap meets, giving unconditionally to her family, and spending time with loved ones.
Visitation leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Tomas (Norma) Arcano, Almar (Vangie) Arcano, Leonardo (Rosario) Arcano, Robert (Leonida) Pugal, and Rolly (Maryann) Pugal; daughters, Lita (Benny) Gruevarra, Corazon (Calixto) Agustin, Juliet (Juanito) Opinaldo, and Sarah (Junior) Habon; grandchildren, Paul Bisquera, Andrew Guevarra, Bryan Guevarra, Caroline Hirata, Samuel Agustin, Ardie Arcano, Jerome Dwight Arcano, Elaine Arcano, Rhesselle Arcano, Leonardo Arcano Junior, Emely Kamikawa, Jojo Opinaldo, Elana Marie Opinaldo, Saunte Lea Pugal, Shanell Kristina Pugal, and Jason Pugal; and 18 loving great grandchildren.
