William Leroy Kaholokula's Obituary
William L. Kaholokula, 57, of Kahului, passed away on March 20, 2015 at home, with his mother and companion at his side.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, at Nakamura Mortuary; with a service at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Mr. Kaholokula was born on March 11, 1958.
He was a caretaker with the County of Maui Department of Parks & Recreation.
William is survived by his mother, Viola J. Apo Hanaike; father, Jared (Ruth) Kaholokula; children, Jared (Heui) and Puanani Kaholokula; hanai Jovina Kaeo, and his cat “smokey”, companion, Tanee Rhodes; brothers, Henry Noeau Kaholokula, Claude “Gilly” (Michelle) Hanaike Maio, Corey (Reiko) Hanaike, Greg West, Dale Hano; sisters, Melvina Kanaha, Loke (Matt) Wong, Maile (Clayton) Gomes, Ipo Basbas, Crystal Smythe; and uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He loved making jewelry with sea shells and lauhala. He enjoyed golfing and bowling.
