William "Willy" Tatsuo Watanabe's Obituary
William “Willy” Tatsuo Watanabe, 71, of Wailuku, passed away unexpectedly on May 21. Willy was born on October 24, 1946 and worked for over 30 years as a customer service agent with Aloha Airlines. He is survived by his wife Betty (Nee Endo), son Kurt (Kacie), stepson Keith (Lynn) Wong, grandchildren Kip, Kai, and Keely Watanabe and Geoff (Achlene) and Derek (Sarah) Wong, and sister, Janice Watanabe. He was predeceased by his parents, Takeshi and Yoshino Watanabe. In his retirement, Willy’s greatest joys were traveling with Betty to Japan and Las Vegas, watching his grandsons play sports, and babysitting the apple of his eye, granddaughter Keely.
Services will be held on Monday, June 11 at Nakamura Mortuary; visitation at 4pm, service at 5. The family requests no flowers or wreaths. Casual attire.
