Yoshiyuki "Yot" Fujiyama's Obituary
Yoshiyuki “Yot” Fujiyama, 91, of Lahaina, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2017, under the care of Hospice Maui, with his loving family by his side.
Services honoring Mr. Fujiyama will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Lahaina Hongwanji, with visitation at 9:00am, and service at 10:00am.
Mr. Fujiyama will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.

Mr. Fujiyama was born on December 7, 1925, in Lahaina, Maui, to Shuichi & Teru Fujiyama. Yoshiyuki was a truck driver for pioneer mill. He loved to fish, cook, pick mangos, feed his birds, hence the nickname “The Birdman of Lahaina”, and spend time with his family.
Yoshiyuki leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 62 years, Humiko “Lorraine” Fujiyama; son, Dale (Roxane) Fujiyama; daughter, Lisa (Robert Jenkins) Fujiyama; grandson, Barry Kawakami; granddaughter, Tara (Melbert) Ulep; 2 great grandchildren, Melina and Tritan Ulep; sister, Kiyoko Komatsu; and many loving nieces and nephews.
