Alex Howard Bode's Obituary
Alex Howard Bode, 58, of Kihei, passed away September 26, 2015.
Visitation will be 10:00 am, on Sat. Oct. 10, 2015, at Nakamura Mortuary, with
services at 11:00 am.
Mr. Bode was born April 7, 1957, in Honolulu, HI. He owned and operated Waikikena Farm, specializing in Hawaiian plants, herbs, and fruits. He was proud to help troubled youth, teaching them the value of working the land, and fishing.
Mr. Bode is survived by his daughters, Kaila Bode-Shaw, and Wailohia Woolsey; 2 grandsons;
father, Alfred Bode; uncle Kenneth Bode, Sr.; brothers, Paul, Karl, Kirk, and Kenneth, Jr.; sisters, Mary, Margaret, and Kathy; aunt, Jean Keys; several loving nephews and nieces.
