Our deepest condolences to Cousin Josie and to all our family and friends mourning the loss of her beloved husband, Felix.
Felix was one of the kindest souls—always quiet, always steady, with a gentle sense of humor and a strong devotion to family. He made Josie truly happy, and for that alone, he’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.
One memory that still brings a smile is how he used to gather used boogie boards from hotel guests and save them for us to resell at the surf shop. We’d show up with a pickup truck, excited like kids on Christmas morning. Felix’s thoughtful contributions helped our Maui ohana more than he probably ever realized.
May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply appreciated, respected, and loved.
With love and aloha,
Jeannette Lucero, Maui McMillin, Jason Alvarado and Maya Alvarado
