James Almeida Sr.'s Obituary
James Almeida Sr. (Mikey) passed on August 20, 2021 at Kahului, Maui, he was 98. James was born in Spreckelsville, Maui on 10/07/1923. He later enlisted into the Army in 1946 with the 298th Inf. as a Parachutist Rifleman. After getting out of the Army he went to work for the Kahului Railroad as a Brakeman. Later James went to work for the State at Kula Hospital as a Kitchen Helper. After retiring you could find him
greeting customers at different stores wearing colorful matching pants and shirts.
James is survived by his sons James Almeida Jr, and Carl David Almeida, and daughter Susan Jacinto. Two grandchildren, Amy H. Almeida and Jason A. Almeida.
