Jeffrey Willis Anderson's Obituary
Jeffrey W. Anderson, 70, of Kahului, Maui, and West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Jeff was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, grew up in West Bridgewater, and graduated from Stonehill College. While vacationing in Maui, he met the love of his life, Amy, to whom he was married for 44 wonderful years. In 1979, Jeff made Maui his home.
He was a loving and devoted family man to his wife, Amy Anderson, and his children: Lauren Saldana (Gary), Lindy Anderson, and Eric Anderson (hanai son). Jeff was also a mentor and father figure to many others whose lives he deeply touched.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Charles Anderson; his mother, Lorraine Anderson; and his brother, Donnie Anderson.
Jeff lived for sports. Over the years, he coached youth basketball, served as a referee, and worked as a scorekeeper for numerous basketball tournaments. He was a lifelong and passionate fan of all Boston professional sports teams.
Before retiring from the County as Supervisor of the West Maui Parks Department, Jeff dedicated 20 years to the Maui Invitational basketball tournament, helping shape it into the world-class event it is today. It was truly his “baby.”
In retirement, Jeff enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Massachusetts. He was grateful to fulfill his dream of spending time with his family on Maui while also residing part-time in his childhood home in West Bridgewater.
The family would like to thank the Maui Memorial Medical Center ER, Dr. Vijak, and Dr. Lee.
