In loving memory of dad who always signed off our conversations with his signature words, “take care,” a simple yet profound reminder of his love and guidance. He taught me the importance of financial responsibility—setting me up with investments, helping me navigate taxes, paying for my college tuition , and steering me clear of scams. A tech-savvy problem-solver, he was my go-to for anything digital, walking me through every new gadget and app. Dad was a world traveler like me; together we embarked on what became the trip of a lifetime through South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, and even shared a memorable reflection at a South African winery—raising a glass and proclaiming, “We’re living the life.” At home he was the ultimate grill master, cooking up the best tri-tip and BBQ chicken. Dad did an incredible job relocating him and Mom to Maui—he would always remind me, “every day is paradise here.” He’d email me WOW photos, turning it into a fun guessing game: “Can you tell which stunning spot I’m enjoying breakfast at?” Though his presence will be deeply missed, I take comfort in knowing he is at peace, free from suffering, and “taking care” of himself—peacefully, in paradise. Dad’s legacy will continue to inspire me every day.
