Kimiko will be remembered by me for many reasons. Principally: As a survivor of the WWII internment camp in Puunene, being a prime teacher of the best morals while being a primary of my beloved fiance Dawn, and finally her devotion to the natural world and family thtough her faith for over 50 years at her Centre for worship. Always kind, always thoughtful, she has influenced my life and will forever be in my thoughts and deeds.

My children and I didnt mind taking care of my grandmother when she gave up her drivers liscence in 2010. She came to live with us until the end of 2013. It was great to have my son and daughter bond with their grandmother. I remember her saying be independent Dawn never depend on anyone.
