Kimiko Inouye's Obituary
Mrs. Kimiko Inouye, 96, of Wailuku, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2015 at Hale Makua- Wailuku with her loving family by her side.
At her request, services were held privately.
Kimiko was born in Kahului on Jan. 25, 1919 to Mitsugoro & Tsuru Ayabe. Together with her husband, Hirosae they owned and operated Maui Fishing Supply store in Wailuku. After retiring, Mrs. Inouye enjoyed making flower arrangements, gardening, spending time with her family and going to church.
Mrs. Inouye leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Ronald (Gale) & Kenneth (Ilima) Inouye and daughter, Kathryn Abraham.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Laurene Maeda, Dawn Matsuda, Tania Abraham, George Abraham, Jason Inouye, Justin Inouye, Jansen Inouye and 11 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The family of the late Mrs. Kimiko Inouye would like to offer special thanks to Maui Memorial Medical Center, Maui Adult Day Care Center and Wailuku Hale Makua. Special thanks to Gale Miyashiro and Nancy Sebastian for taking such wonderful care of Mrs. Inouye.
