Kimiko "Betty" Yamashiro's Obituary
Kimiko “Betty” Yamashiro, 92, a resident of Roselani Place, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017, at the Islands Hospice Home with loving family by her side.
Services honoring Mrs. Yamashiro were held privately.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Mrs Yamashiro was born to Enkichi and Yoshi Jinnohara in Maui, Hawaii. Kimiko loved arts and crafts, hula, Japanese dancing, singing, staying active within the church, socializing, but most importantly, spending time with her family.
Kimiko leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Masanobu Yamashiro; son, Michael (Lynette) Yamashiro of Maui; daughter, Gale (Kent) Yamase of Oahu; grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Mah, and Reid Yamashiro of Oahu, and Ryan Yamase of Texas; and great grandchildren, Logan Mah, and Peyton Mah.
In lieu of monetary gifts, a donation may be made to Islands Hospice Maui in Kimiko’s name.
