Rene Ann Wineland's Obituary
Rene’ Wineland of Makawao, Hawaii passed away peacefully on Nov 5, 2018 at Maui Memorial Hospital.
Rene’ was born in Carson City, Michigan and grew up on the family farm in Middleton, Michigan.
Following High School she graduated Western Michigan University.
To say retail was in her blood , would be an understatement, her extensive retail experience was most impressive from Ansel Adams, Pebble Beach, Sonoma Mission Inn, Silverado Country Club, Hermits Rest @ Grand canyon and Monterey Bay Aquarium, which gave her the opportunity to be instrumental in the opening of the retail gift shop at the Maui Ocean Center as the director of the retail store in 1998, and current work place before her passing! Her dream was to open her own retail store, and after moving back to Makawao in 2004 she knew Makawao would embrace a country retail store, so “Aloha Cowboy “became a reality! Rene’ and her husband Roger were very much involved in the rodeo community, they provided the trophies for the Bull Bash, the stick races for the keiki and helped any one in need when they were able to, they truly had the Aloha spirit, and will be greatly missed!
Rene loved Retail…..
Rene’ is survived by her Brothers Don (Tera) Wineland, Thom Wineland, Ronny Wineland, James Wineland, and sisters Kristi Wineland and Kim Wineland and many cousins.
Rene’ was predeceased by her husband Roger L. Dailey and parents Lyle and Mary Ann Wineland
